Happy Birthday Meghan!

Today is Meghan's birthday, so last night we got together to help her celebrate! It was a low key celebration with some snacks to munch on and some wine to sip on at Singne's house. Singne got a cake from "nothing bundt cakes" which was so nice and it was yummy! I have been wanting to try one of those so that was fun. As always it was nice to see the girls and catch up and hang out. Of course we all enjoyed passing around little Piper, Meghan's newest addition to the family! She is precious and a sweet baby girl! Happy Birthday Meghan, hope it's a great one and the start of another great year for you!

Just had to share because I think this is neat. Our embroiderer at work sits outside and eats her lunch often just to sit in the sun. One day she was eating tomatoes and some juice and seeds dripped onto the street. A few weeks later a little sprout came. I thought it was a weed and she assured me that it was a tomato plant. She has been tending to it and watering it and we have tomatoes now.! It looks weird growing out of a crack in the parking lot but I can't wait to taste one when they are ready!

I am staying at my parents house this week because they went back with my sis and the kids on Monday and are staying all week. Now that I have Ripken, when they leave I have four dogs to watch. Since their house is bigger, there is a lot more room for the four dogs then there is my house. However, not when it is time to go to bed!! I am already crazy for letting Ripken, Bogey and Jesse all sleep in the bed at my house...but add one more lab and there is no room for me! This is what I walked into after brushing my teeth etc. They started to make themselves quite comfortable! Guess I should have just gone to sleep in the other room! :)

Tuesday night we took my nephew to the baseball game. He LOVES baseball! It was fun for him to go to a game and we had great seats. We were just behind the Padres dugout about 5 rows up. Unfortunately the Diamondbacks lost the game but it was fun to just be there and watch him have fun. At four years old, everything is exciting! My nephew is very afraid of mascots as well as the Easter Bunny and Santa. When he saw Baxter coming our way, you could see in his eyes that he wanted nothing to do with it. I thought maybe if Aunt TT got a picture with him, he would see that he wasn't so scary...well it didn't work so it was just me who go a picture with Baxter in the end. We had a great time and I am looking forward to going to more games this year. Go D-backs!!

Happy Easter!!

I did it again, I just couldn't resist! I don't have kids to dress in cute outfits so until then, the dogs are the lucky winners!
I had a wonderful Easter and am feeling very blessed! My sister, brother in law, neice and nephew are here visiting. They came in on Friday and will be staying for over a week! I have always loved Easter and start looking forward to Easter brunch the day after Easter. It is certainly far better when enjoyed with the whole family!! We enjoyed a great Easter service at 9:00am church and then went to brunch at the country club and participated in the egg hunt there. We then went home to my parents house and watched Tye enjoy hunting for eggs again! At age 4...it just doesn't get old!
