Saturday night I went with my friend Meredith to Bottles and Brushes. http://www.bottlesnbrushes.com/home.html It was so fun. You choose the night you are going to go based on what picture you want to paint. When you walk in, there is a sample of the painting you will be doing up in the front. They walk you through step by step and the instructor paints one at the same time. You can buy beer and wine and snacks while you are there or you can bring your own. Meredith was sweet and brought a bottle of wine so we shared a bottle of wine and painted our pictures which was title "The Good Life". I still think my talents need a little work but it was a lot of fun! I will definitely do it again. They have a paint your pet....think that is now on my list of things to do!

Quick trip to AZ
Last weekend I went home to Arizona for what felt like the quickest trip ever! I left SC at 8:45 Friday morning and landed in Phoenix at 1:30pm. I quickly went home to change and my mom dropped me off at Grayhawk for a golf lesson. (Thanks Jeff for helping me, now I am excited to continue working on my game knowing what to practice!) After the lesson I went back to Jeff's house to see Mitzi, changed and Mitzi and I were off to the Missouri vs. Arizona State football game!! I am sad to report that my tigers lost but it was a great game that went into overtime and as always it is just fun to be a fan and support my team!
GO TIGERS!!!
My Tigers are taking the field!
MIZ....ZOU!!!
Lupe,Noelani,Mitzi, Me, Meghan and Toni
Saturday I met the girls at Arcadia Farms for lunch. As usual, our lunch turned into a 4 hour lunch with 3 bottles of wine. (with only four of us drinking. :) ) I love these girls so much. We certainly missed Singne who was actually in town the week before! It was fun to just catch up and laugh like we always do!
Lupe,Noelani,Mitzi, Me, Meghan and ToniAfter lunch I met my mom at Scottsdale Fashion square for some shopping. My mom and I had a great dinner and BlueWater Grill before we went home. I then ran over to my friend Carrie's house to meet her new puppy Toby. Sunday my mom and I enjoyed a nice breakfast at the Country Club before she took me to the airport to catch a 9:55am flight.
I was nervous to fly on 9-11 but made it home safely to a clean house. (Had a house cleaner come over the weekend for the first time since moving here!) It was so nice to walk into! I picked up the dogs at the kennel Monday morning and they were bathed and happy to see me. Strange to be coming "home" to SC and "visiting" AZ now but it did feel good to actually be happy to be home! I realized once again....while I love AZ, my friends and everything I have there....I think I am going to like it here and made a good move!!

Dozens of Dolphins
Yesterday was a great day! I gave lessons all morning and then raced home to catch the start of my Missouri Tigers season opener against Miami (Ohio). Have I mentioned how excited I am that college football season has started again? My favorite time of the year. We won which of course made my day even better. After the game was over, I met my sister and her family at the dock and we went out on the boat. We went to an area we had not been before and to our surprise saw tons of dolphins. Everytime we are out on the water, we see a few here and there. This was totally different, there were tons of them!! They came close to the boat and were jumping up out of the water almost playing with eachother. We stayed there for a long time just watching them. It was so cool! They are beautiful animals to watch!
Of course everytime they jumped and were really close to us, I didn't capture it on my camera or video so the video and pictures really don't do the exprience justice.
